MiWORLD is an exclusive network of people who interact both digitally and physically. They share similar lifestyle interests in relation to socializing, networking, drinking, dining, fashion, music, shopping, travelling and entertainment.
A Mi is a meaningful interaction. MiWORLD facilitates real-time meaningful interactions, mass mingling and information sharing both offline @MiLOCATIONS as well as online @ www.mi-world.co.za.
The MiWORLD concept consists of 3 elements
www.mi-world.co.za – Register with your secret code to gain access to events, products, special offers and MiLOCATIONS.
MiLOCATIONS – Online meets offline in stylish, digitally advanced settings such as bars, cafes, clubs and restaurants.
MiEVENTS – Experiential events for the MiWORLD community
Because MiWORLD is an exclusive network, a secret code is required to join. Member invite priviledges are awarded to selected individuals and in order to enter a MiLOCATION, you have to register online and then log in at the door when you arrive. By doing so you can order off the interactive MiTABLES, e-chat with neighbouring tables and MiLOCATIONS, view the menu and access the MiWORLD network to view exclusive content and special offers. MiLOCATIONS include MiBAR Martini, MiLOUNGE Martini and soon a MiCAFE.
- MiBAR Martini – A contemporary pop-up cocktail bar which launches on 4 March 2010 in the Design District of Rosebank. Sponsored by Martini for the first three months, expect a change in three months time. MiBAR Martini will offer unique interactive experiences including digital MiTABLES from which guests can order signature drinks and snacks. There will also be an interactive wall and digitally enhanced bar enviroment. Liquidchefs are the driving force behind the MiBAR concept so expect innovative cocktails, shooters and shakers. Each drink is an experience!
- MiLOUNGE Martini – MiLOUNGE Martini will offer a sophisticated cocktail, champagne and wine bar in the high-street lifestyle centre, Blu Bird Shopping Centre in Melrose. MiLOUNGE Martini opens its doors to MiWORLD members mid to end March 2010, where they can enjoy the same experiential service and drinks as MiBAR Martini, but in a different setting with more of a ‘lounge’ atmosphere. Vintage Fresh will take care of the culinary experience serving light snacks and tapas, while Liquidchefs will dish up only the best in terms of specialised drinks.
- MiCAFE – A premium cocktail bar and cafe specialising in upmarket cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, light snacks and tapas will open its doors in phase 2 of The Zone @ Rosebank in August 2010.
MiEVENTS – Experiental events for all MiWORLD members held at both MiLOCATIONS and unconventional venues across Johannesburg. Expect all the best brands in South Africa to entertain and present their products to the MIWORLD community in innovative and unique ways never done before.
